Serial number spelling

Cessna serial number spelling:

The Cessna Single Engine serial number spelling can be found in the Cessna SEB02-2 dated February 18, 2002.
The Cessna Multi Engine serial number spelling can be found in the Cessna MEB02-2 from February 25, 2002.
For Cessna aircraft, the spelling of the serial numbers must be taken from these service bulletins
be taken. This spelling of the work numbers was used in all documents.
Spelling of the work numbers for the Cessna 525 series:
Cessna 525 = 525-0001
Cessna 525A = 525A0001
Cessna 525B = 525B0001

Piper PA-60 Series work number notation:

The work number spelling is based on the service letter number: Piper SL600-67

Piper work number spelling:

The Piper work number notation can be found in Piper SB 1041 dated September 25, 2000
For Piper aircraft, the spelling of the serial numbers must be taken from this service bulletin
be taken. This spelling of the work numbers was used in all documents

Diamond Aircraft serial number notation:

For Diamond Aircraft aircraft the serial number notation is 36220, 40003, D4003, 20004
always without a point. This spelling of the work numbers was used in all documents.

Rotax work number notation:

For Rotax engines 912 + 914, the serial number notation is 4420123 without commas and periods.
This spelling of the work numbers was used in all documents.

Vulcanair serial number notation:

The work number notation for P.68 is described in Service Letter 27 (dated August 30, 2011). The Work number is written without – or / and the following characters. Therefore the serial number 999-88/FF is only given as 999 in technical documents (and therefore in AMOffice).
