We recommend using PostgreSQL server instead of Microsoft SQL Server. PostgreSQL is neither limited in the size of the database nor in the use of resources (RAM / processor cores).

Please note that we will discontinue support for Microsoft SQL Server from AMOffice version 1.6.7!

To install PostgreSQL server and then copy the existing database to PostgreSQL, start the migration of the database in the AMOffice Server Tool:

Please note that you have to uninstall the existing MS SQL Server manually if you no longer need it for other applications. Further information can be found in the AMOffice manual, section Server Management.
